You can call it vapor where or not. But Windows Tablets exist today with simular specs. you can buy them run the Windows 8 Preview release on them, use the MetroUI, try the MetroUI apps. These are not vaporware. The Surface may be MS first PC platform device but its far from there first device. Two generations of Xbox, three generations of Zune. Aside from the desaster that was the first few years of the Xbox 360, no one has ever had problems with Microsofts hardware. Even Zune, the UI may have been critizied but no one ever had a problem with the hardware. As for OEM's MS is not trying to surplant and replace them. MS is certinaly trying to lead them. OEMs will do what they do copy the best designs try to make them lighter and cheeper and wait for something else to copy.
